Meet my first amigurumi doll!
I wanted to make a really original handmade gift, and after seeing Grimm by croshame I decided to start knitting my very first amigurumi doll! It took 3 days and a whole night, but I like him so much!!!
after knitting 7.5 rounds of the head after 13 rounds
after 17 rounds the corpse-paint mouth is on!
In the background, this amazingly helpful video-tutorial by Crochet Hooks You
All parts are ready! (not assembled yet)
Working with the hair
2 hours later (1/3 of the hair is done)
1.5 hour later (2/3 of the hair is done)
Young Varg in the background (works well for inspiration)
Corpse paint is on and the hair is textured. Let the assembling begin!
Without his spikes and belt he looks rather "depressed"...
tnbm. aaargh!
close-up making of the spiked armbands
and... my first amigurumi doll is ready !!!
Hey, just hating everything and everyone.
Wishing you a lousy christmas :P
This doll is definitely contradictory to the style and aesthetic of my other creations, but... hey, just because I make cute and colorful little miniature sweets, it doesn't mean I can't create in other styles as well! =)
